Under the guidance of lecturer Bartosz G\u0142owacki (Master's degree), they carried out a series of psychological workshops in February and March 2026. Their <strong>The main recipients were children, young people, parents, and adults facing various life challenges.<\/strong> This is further proof that studying psychology at WSKZ is not just about theory, but above all about action and experience, which prepares students for future work in the profession.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u201eNo to Aggression\u201d Workshops \u2013 Support for Children in Foster Care&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The first meeting of the students with the youngest children took place on 10 February 2026 at the District Family Support Centre in Milicz. They prepared there<strong> Workshops for children in foster care.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The classes focused on important social issues, such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Mobbing;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>relational aggression;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hate and difficult peer relationships.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Participants learned <strong>practical ways to respond to violence and methods for coping with emotions and stress<\/strong>. The workshops were interactive, allowing the children to better understand the topics discussed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to cope with stress? Workshops in Wroc\u0142aw<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Further activities took place on 28 February 2026, during a repeat of the workshops at the St. Albert the Great Shelter in Wroc\u0142aw. This time, the focus was on <strong>emotional regulation and coping with stress in everyday life<\/strong>. During the classes, participants will:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>created a \u201eMap of Relaxing Associations\u201d;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>they took part in breathwork training;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>They learned relaxation techniques that can be used in everyday life.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The workshop had a practical dimension.<\/strong> and were tailored to the individual needs of the participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Child safety in the age of artificial intelligence \u2013 workshop for parents and educators<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the beginning of March, there were<strong> Workshops at the Psychological and Pedagogical Counselling Centre in Milicz, aimed at parents and educators. <\/strong>The meeting concerned a highly topical issue, which is <strong>The impact of artificial intelligence on children and adolescents, and the threats in the digital environment<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the workshop, we discussed, among other things:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The risks associated with the uncontrolled use of AI tools.;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ways to recognise concerning online situations;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Practical ways to support children in using technology safely.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The classes have also become a space for sharing experiences. They showed <strong>How important is the cooperation of different environments in building the digital safety of the youngest.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cyberbullying and AI \u2013 a meeting with young people in Trzebnica<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Just a day later, <strong>4 March 2026<\/strong>, the activities moved to Primary School No. 2 in Trzebnica, where they took place <strong>Workshops for sixth-grade pupils.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The meeting's agenda included:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Cyberbullying;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>relational aggression;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Risks arising from the use of artificial intelligence.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thanks to the tailored form of the classes <strong>young people could actively participate in discussions and gain knowledge useful in everyday life.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Psychology studies at WSKZ \u2013 practice, experience, and societal impact<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The series of workshops held in February and March 2026 shows that <strong>Psychology students at WSKZ don't just learn, they primarily act.<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thanks to this type of activity, it is possible, among other things:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Supporting the local community;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>building psychological awareness;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>developing students' professional competencies;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Making initial professional contacts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is precisely these kinds of experiences that make <strong>Studies at WSKZ effectively prepare you for a career as a psychologist.<\/strong>.
