MW days 26\u201328 April 2026.<\/strong> we Wroclaw<\/strong> will take place National Scientific Conference and workshop series entitled \u201eEducation for safety \u2013 theory, practice, contemporary challenges\u201d.<\/strong> The event organised by the Institute of Criminology and Internal Security of WSKZ provides a meeting space for the academic community, administration, and practitioners of the security system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The conference has Three-day and hybrid character<\/strong>. It combines in-person workshops with an expert conference section also available online. The main aim<\/strong> There is a joint analysis of contemporary threats and the development of concrete solutions for the education and security system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Organisers \u2013 the scientific community and security practitioners<\/strong>
<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The organisation of the event is the responsibility of the Institute of Criminology and Internal Security of WSKZ, supported by a Scientific and Organisational Committee composed of representatives of the University and external experts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Committees comprise experienced researchers and practitioners, representing, among others, academia and public security institutions. Their participation guarantees a high substantive level and the relevance of the topics addressed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Three days \u2013 three perspectives<\/strong>
<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The event programme has been divided into three complementary parts:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Day I \u2013 Student's perspective<\/strong>
Workshops focusing on interpersonal communication and negotiation, conducted through active participant engagement. This is a space for developing soft skills, crucial in crisis situations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Day II \u2013 Practice and Administration<\/strong>
Meetings dedicated to teachers, officials, and local government representatives. The focus will be on crisis communication, civil protection, civil defence, and inter-institutional cooperation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Day III \u2013 Expert Conference<\/strong>
Academic sessions and debates with experts, dedicated to diagnosing threats and the directions for the development of security education. The programme includes presentations by authorities, an expert debate, and a summary of conclusions for public policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
