In pursuing its educational mission, the University College of Professional Education not only educates students but is also an active centre of scientific and academic life. This is best exemplified by the numerous scientific conferences that we organise in cooperation with renowned universities from Poland and abroad.
The objectives of the conference focus on the exchange of views, opinions and experiences of representatives of the scientific world and European law enforcement agencies and services in the field of combating environmental crime. Scientific conferences bring together academics and practitioners. They provide a forum for discussing problems of social, economic and political life. They provide an opportunity to confront science with practice by exchanging views and experiences. The meetings present scientific achievements in a given field and the latest trends and solutions. The conferences organised by the WSKZ are also attended by representatives of law enforcement bodies, as well as representatives of services and institutions responsible for environmental protection

On days 4-5 grudnia 2025 roku w Białobrzegach odbyła się XV Międzynarodowa Konferencja Naukowa Nowoczesne koncepcje i metody zarządzania. Organizatorem wydarzenia jest Instytut Zarządzania Wojskowej Akademii Technicznej. Konferencja została objęta patronatem Rektora Wyższej Szkoły Kształcenia Zawodowego dr. Henryka Fedewicza.
Z dumą informujemy, że ukazał się specjalny numer międzynarodowego czasopisma naukowego Acta Neuropsychologica, (Vol. 23, No. 2, 2025), wydany w uznaniu zasług dr. Bartosza Błaszczaka, Honorowego Członka Polskiego Towarzystwa Neuropsychologicznego.
Numer zatytułowany „Neurosciences in Honor of Doctor Bartosz Błaszczak” stanowi wyraz najwyższego uznania dla jego dorobku naukowego oraz trwałego wpływu na rozwój psychologii, w szczególności neuropsychologii, a także na zarządzanie w nauce i edukacji.
Dr Błaszczak to nie tylko wybitny naukowiec, lecz przede wszystkim znakomity menedżer i wizjonerski lider, potrafiący integrować wokół siebie środowisko wybitnych badaczy i doświadczonych klinicystów. Jego wyjątkowa wrażliwość na człowieka, otwartość oraz oddanie sprawom nauki i edukacji sprawiają, że w sposób konsekwentny i znaczący przyczynia się do rozwoju nauk humanistycznych i społecznych – zwłaszcza psychologii i zarządzania.
Numer zawiera osiem artykułów: pięć badań empirycznych, jedno studium przypadku oraz dwa artykuły przeglądowe. Redaktorem gościnnym numeru jest Artur Ziolkowski, PhD, Prof. WSKZ, Dyrektor Instytutu Psychologii.
Czasopismo Acta Neuropsychologica znajduje się w wiodących międzynarodowych bazach danych (inter alia. Clarivate JCR, SCOPUS, PsycINFO) i posiada aktualny Impact Factor 1.1 (2024), co czyni je istotnym forum międzynarodowej wymiany wiedzy w dziedzinie neuronauk.
On days 21-22 października 2025 roku w Akademii Nauk Stosowanych Angelusa Silesiusa w Wałbrzychu odbędzie się międzynarodowa konferencja naukowa „AI a kształtowanie postaw społecznych. Wyzwania edukacyjne, etyczne, prawne i gospodarcze”. W wydarzeniu wezmą udział eksperci z Polski, Słowacji, Czech i innych krajów, aby wspólnie debatować nad przyszłością sztucznej inteligencji i jej wpływem na społeczeństwo.
W październiku 2025 roku ukazało się wydanie specjalne czasopisma naukowego „Prawo i Bezpieczeństwo – Law & Security”, poświęcone interdyscyplinarnej analizie zjawiska handlu ludźmi. Numer został opracowany w związku z Europejskim Dniem Przeciwko Handlowi Ludźmi oraz towarzyszącymi mu wydarzeniami naukowymi – Ogólnopolską Konferencją Studencką i debatą publiczną. The meetings were held on 24-25 października 2025 r. w College of Vocational Training in Wrocław.
Obrady odbyły się we Wrocławiu w dniach 13-15 października 2025 r. at the Scandic Hotel at ul. J. Piłsudskiego 53/57 in Wrocław.
W roku akademickim 2025/2026 rusztł cykl seminariów online organizowany przez Laboratorium Bliskowschodnie. Spotkania będą przestrzenią do interdyscyplinarnej refleksji nad politycznymi, społecznymi i religijnymi wyzwaniami regionu Bliskiego Wschodu oraz okazją do wymiany wiedzy między wykładowcami, studentami i ekspertami.
Rok akademicki 2025/2026 jest szczególny, ponieważ dzięki działaniom Centrum Współpracy Międzynarodowej WSKZ rozpoczęła proces nawiązywania partnerstwa z SIMS. Efektem rozmów jest podpisanie Listu Intencyjnego, który obejmuje wspólne inicjatywy w obszarze edukacji, badań naukowych oraz wymiany studentów.
Wyższa Szkoła Kształcenia Zawodowego we Wrocławiu została zaproszona do udziału w uroczystej inauguracji roku akademickiego Uniwersytetu Preszowskiego na Słowacji – jednego z najważniejszych partnerów międzynarodowych Uczelni. Wydarzenie odbyło się w wyjątkowej oprawie i zgromadziło przedstawicieli świata nauki, administracji oraz biznesu.
University of Vocational Training in Wrocław znacząco wzmocniła swoją pozycję na mapie europejskiego szkolnictwa wyższego. Dzięki działaniom Centrum Współpracy Międzynarodowej WSKZ uczelnia zawarła umowy z trzema renomowanymi uniwersytetami w ramach programu Erasmus+.
W dniu 18 września 2025 roku w siedzibie Ministerstwa Spraw Wewnętrznych i Administracji w Warszawie odbyła się międzynarodowa konferencja pt.: „30 Years Anti-Trafficking Work in Europe & Supporting Victim Rights – How to effectively address human trafficking and ensure that trafficked persons receive protection and support?”. Wydarzenie zorganizowane zostało przez Departament Porządku Publicznego MSWiA we współpracy z Radą Europy, Fundacją La Strada Polska, La Strada International oraz partnerami z kraju i zagranicy. Konferencja to element obchodów 20-lecia przyjęcia Konwencji Rady Europy w sprawie działań przeciwko handlowi ludźmi oraz 30-lecia działalności Fundacji La Strada.
On days 18-20 September 2025 w European Solidarity Centre in Gdansk odbył się 21st International Forensic Congress under the slogan: "Forensics and Forensic Expertise: Science, Studies, Practice"..
Organizatorem wydarzenia było szerokie grono instytucji, w tym Polish Criminalistics Society, University of Vocational Training in Wrocławas well as numerous academic centres and international organisations. The congress was covered by Under the Honorary Patronage of the Commander-in-Chief of the Police, Chief Superintendent Marek Boroń.

The University of Vocational Training in Wrocław has signed a strategic agreement on international cooperation with the Ukrainian public organisation 'Innovative Medical Platform'. A particular achievement of this cooperation is the initiative to establish a new international scientific journal entitled 'The Innovative Medical Platform'. "International Medical Herald".
The College of Vocational Training has concluded a letter of intent for international cooperation with Swiss Institute of Management and Sciences (SIMS) - university based in Zug, specialising in areas such as management, finance, logistics, marketing or tourism.
As part of the cooperation, it was planned to teaching and research activities and exchanges of students and academic staff. SIMS offers high quality education, combining a modern approach to education with academic tradition. The university actively participates in international initiatives, working with partners such as. UNESCO and by organising exchanges, seminars and joint research.
The College of Vocational Training has signed an agreement with the Scientific Research Institute of State Building and Local Self-Government of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine. It is a leading scientific centre for research into the organisation and functioning of the state, local government and legal systems in the context of public administration.
Cooperation shall include implementation of joint scientific projects, the exchange of knowledge and experience, the organisation of conferences, scientific publications and joint efforts to obtain grants. The agreement provides an important step in the development of joint research and academic exchange in the field of law and administration.
City Unity College Nicosia has become another partner of the Higher School of Vocational Training. private educational institution operating in the Cypriot capital. Under the signed agreement, the parties will cooperate in the areas of science, teaching and academic exchange.
City Unity College Nicosia offers Bachelor and Master programmes in fields such as international management, administration, tourism, accounting or computer science. The university also runs studies in partnership with Cardiff Metropolitan University. In addition, it acts as an approved examination centre for VICTVS Global, conducting examinations for Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
The College of Vocational Training has also signed an agreement with the International University of Kyrgyzstan - one of the most important academic universities in the region Central Asia. IUK is active in education and research in areas such as management, economics, computer science, humanities and natural sciences.
The cooperation provides for joint research projects, student and faculty exchanges, the organisation of conferences and educational initiatives. The agreement aims to promote the quality of education and the development of international cooperation in academia.
26 July 2025 At the invitation of the Centre for International Cooperation of the Higher School of Vocational Training in Wrocław came to Wrocław Prof. Aleksandra Zając, Chancellor a renowned Swiss university - The Swiss Institute of Management and Sciences (SIMS) to meet with the Management Staff of our University. Her visit was a great honour and a testament to the strong partnership and the high prestige of the College of Vocational Training on the international stage.

On 2 July 2025, the College of Vocational Training, represented by the Dr Irena MalinowskaProf. WSKZ - Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, and Prof. Dariusz Brakoniecki with the Centre for International Cooperation, concluded a bilateral agreement on scientific and didactic cooperation with the University of Prešov in Prešov (Slov. W dniach 23-24 czerwca 2025 a nationwide scientific conference entitled 'The Role of the European Union in the Social Sciences' was held at the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Wrocław. "1000 YEARS - Poland in Europe. Taking stock of experience and a vision for the future".devoted to reflection on Poland's place and role in Europe over the millennium. The event was organised in the special year of Poland's assumption of the Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
We are proud to announce that the College of Vocational Training has acted as a co-organiser of the event, actively participating in both its preparation and expert sessions.
On 12 June 2025, an international conference was held pt. Missing persons under 18 in Europe. Challenges, prevention and systemic solutions in the context of parental kidnapping and teenage runaways. The event was organised by ITAKA Foundation - Centre for Missing Persons and federation Missing Children Europe in cooperation with Ministry of the Interior and Administration.
On days 5-6 czerwca 2025 roku the International Scientific Conference on Communication in Crisis and Border Situations was held in Wrocław. The event was organised by Institute of Media and Social Communication of the University of Vocational Training chaired by Prof. Aleksander Woźnyand the conference became a space for interdisciplinary exchanges, reflections and analyses of the mechanisms of conformity, socio-cultural barriers to otherness and the challenges of the aid professions in the face of extreme situations such as armed conflicts, natural disasters or epidemics.
29 May 2025 in Warsaw, in the conference rooms of the National Stadium, hosted a seminar of the European Crime Prevention Network EUCPN (European Crime Prevention Network). The theme of the event was prevention of trafficking in human beings with particular focus on public educationincluding in the context of the situation of migrants affected by the war in Ukraine. The seminar was organised in the framework of the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union and lasted from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m..
27 May 2025 an international scientific conference entitled "State Building and Local Government Research Institute of the NAPrN of Ukraine" took place in Kharkiv. "Legal regulation of public management and local government: comparative experiences and contemporary challenges".

The College of Vocational Training in Wrocław, together with its long-standing research partner, the Central Ukrainian Institute of Human Development at the University of Ukraine, organised a an international scientific conference held on 16 May 2025 in an online format.
The event was a continuation of a series of international scientific endeavours that have been running since 2022 with the aim of deepening research cooperation and promoting an interdisciplinary approach to the challenges facing contemporary society.
This year's conference was dedicated to analysing the impact of armed conflict on public health and social life. It was attended by academics, practitioners and experts from many countries, representing leading universities, research institutes and public health and social policy institutions.
The Higher School of Vocational Training, in cooperation with the Central Ukrainian Institute of Human Development at the University of Ukraine, co-organised an international scientific conference held on 16 May 2025 in a remote format. The event resulted in a three-volume scientific monograph edited by the authorities of the Higher School of Vocational Training.

In an era of increasing digitalisation and global technological challenges, international cooperation is a key foundation for the development of education and research. University of Vocational Training in Wrocław (Poland) and Vasyl Sukhomlynski Department of ICT and Safe Learning Environment KPI (Ukraine) launched a joint initiative to organise International Scientific and Practical Conferencewhich took place on 29 April 2025 in an online format using the ZOOM platform.

Jak je rozpoznać, jakie są jego konsekwencje i w jaki sposób można mu przeciwdziałać? Odpowiedzi na te pytania udzielili eksperci, którzy 23 kwietnia 2025 roku pojawili się na międzynarodowej konferencji „Mobbing jako destrukcyjny aspekt środowiska pracy” organizowanej przez Uczelnię.
W dniu 12 kwietnia 2025 roku, in the Auditorium of the School of Management 'Education', odbył się wyjątkowy wykład gościnny pt. "The functioning of the EU banking system in the context of globalisation in terms of economic security: current status and prospects".
Wykład poprowadził Prof. Dr. Igor Britchenko – wybitny ekonomista i specjalista w zakresie bezpieczeństwa ekonomicznego. Prelekcja była doskonałą okazją do poznania aktualnych wyzwań stojących przed systemem bankowym Unii Europejskiej w dynamicznie zmieniających się realiach gospodarczych i geopolitycznych.
