Criminology

part-time Master's degree programme at the seat of the university

Recruitment for part-time master's degree programmes in Criminology carried out on studia-wroclaw.pl is geared towards learning carried out primarily at the premises of the university (5-6 weekend assemblies during the semester). These studies are an excellent choice whether you are a graduate Criminology bachelor's degree, as well as if you only became interested in crime-fighting issues at the stage of choosing a master's degree. 

A master's degree in criminology provides complement to undergraduate studies for this course, but will also work well for those who are new to the subject. The programme covers general crime issues, issues relating to forensic methods and specialised training in the interdisciplinary science of criminology. Subjects relating to law, psychology and sociology will also find their place in the course of training. In contrast to the bachelor's degree, at master's level you can count on a little more practical knowledge, advanced techniques and working methods for criminologists and classes to prepare you for the labour market.

Planned specialisations within the course

  • Detective services and protection of persons and property
  • Forensics and crime fighting

If the number of students enrolled in a particular specialisation does not reach the threshold necessary to form a group, it may she not be activated. In this case, the student will be shown other options to choose from. Failure of the student to decide on a further choice of specialisation will result in his/her automatic allocation to one of the groups created. Details are determined by the Rector in the relevant announcement published in the Student Panel 30 days before the start of the course.
