Meeting of the WSKZ Security Advisory Panel.
On 16-18 December 2024, an away meeting of the Security Advisory Team of the University of Applied Sciences was held in Warsaw. The event was attended by retired Police and Polish Army generals and key academics from the University.
Key themes and findings of the JCS Safety Advisory Panel
The meeting was devoted to discussing key activities of the Team, such as advising on the educational programmes for the faculties of internal security, criminology, law and administration. A work schedule for the coming year was adopted, and initiatives were planned to modernise the University's infrastructure and organise prestigious academic events, including the 21st International Congress of Criminology to be held in September 2025.

Key findings from the meeting of the JCS Safety Advisory Panel
- Development of guidelines for practice directions and infrastructure upgrades, including the establishment of a Criminal Analysis Laboratory.
- Establish new forms of cooperation with the socio-economic environment.
- Planning workshops and conferences with experts in criminology, law and security.
- Strengthen efforts to prepare students for future professional challenges by developing their practical competences.
Conclusions after the event
The meeting was another step in the implementation of WSKZ's mission, which focuses on an innovative approach to education, adapted to the dynamic needs of the labour market. Thanks to the support of eminent experts and cooperation with the socio-economic environment, the University is strengthening its position as a leader in education in faculties related to security, criminology and law.
