Targi Pracy WSKZ – inspirujące spotkania, setki rozmów i ponad 500 studentów Zarządzania na kampusie!
28 March 2026. The campus of the University of Professional Education in Wrocław once again became a place for intensive discussions, exchange of experiences, and planning future careers. During WSKZ Job Fair over 500 Management students It met with employers, industry experts, and representatives of public institutions. The atmosphere was dynamic, inspiring, and full of substantive content.
Event The event was chaired by Dr Sylwia Zakrzewska, Vice-Dean for Student Affairs of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Technical Sciences, together with Police Superintendent (Ret.) Artur Bielecki, Deputy Chairman of the WSKZ Stakeholder Council, the Centre for Student Development and Support, and the management of the Institute of Management and Quality Sciences. They emphasised that the Job Fair is a key element in building a conscious career path, developing future competencies and strengthening cooperation between the university and the socio-economic environment.
Strong representation from WSKZ – management, experts and partners
Those opening and supporting the event included:
- Margaret Piórkowska, the Rector's Representative for Equal Treatment – highlighted the importance of equality and accessibility in the workplace.
- Dr Marika Szymańska, Director of the Institute of Management and Quality Sciences – emphasised the importance of cooperation with the socio-economic environment and the active participation of students in the professional life of the region.
- Mehmet Ömürlü, Deputy Director of the Institute – emphasised the practical dimension of the acquired competencies.
- Dr Sylwia Książek, Coordinator of the Student Development and Support Centre – pointed out the need for conscious career planning and the development of soft skills.
- Małgorzata Pacer, Director of the International Cooperation Centre – presented students with a wide range of opportunities for study abroad within Erasmus+, emphasising that WSKZ belongs to most internationalised universities in Poland.
The WSKZ Stakeholder Council – real impact on education and the labour market
A special role during the event was played by Stakeholder Council WSKZ, whose representatives emphasised the importance of cooperation between universities and labour market practitioners. Retired Superintendent Artur Bielecki drew the attention to:
- the Council's strategic impact on the shape of study programmes,
- development apprenticeships stanzas,
- real employment opportunities for students in institutions such as Police, Prison Service, Army, Banking sector (PKO),
- the necessity of developing practical skills already during studies.
His presentation clearly showed the importance of involving practitioners in the training process and the significant impact that the Stakeholder Council has on the quality and relevance of WSKZ programmes.
What happened at the trade fair?
The programme included, among others:
- Expert lecture Paweł Zbigniewski (Veolia Energia Warszawa),
- Employer presentations and stands for discussions,
- workshop CV and LinkedIn, Salary negotiation, Equality and accessibility at work,
- Information meeting about mobility Erasmus+,
- zone for individual consultations with employers,
- Networking in a relaxed, inspiring atmosphere.
Exhibitors and Partners
Among the active partners were, among others: Horeca+, Military Recruitment Centre, Prison Service, Provincial Police Headquarters in Wrocław, Experum, HR2 Face, Safety Project.
Scientific societies – student energy and initiative
The scientific clubs of the Management course presented their projects, research, and initiatives, demonstrating the strong development of the WSKZ academic environment.
Academic and international cooperation
WSKZ – as always – used the teaching base University of Wrocław, which highlights the high organisational standard of the event. It also strongly resonated international cooperation, which is one of the pillars of the university's development and opens up global career paths for students.
